The installation of the prefabricated components of Tseung Kwan O Southern Bridge were successfully completed by 21 June 2023. The project team will continue with the remaining works, including the installation of deck slabs, construction of the approaching ramps, staircases and other ancillary works for the Southern Bridge.

Southern Bridge successfully stepped over Cross Bay Link and entered the inner Junk Bay. It was then placed at the temporary storage area within works area in Tseung Kwan O South Waterfront.

Erection of the last precast concrete bridge segment of Tseung Kwan O Marine Interchange was completed on 21 May 2022.

The Community Liaison Centre is reopened from 21 April 2022 (Thursday). Visitors are required to scan the QR code of the "LeaveHomeSafe" mobile app and scan the vaccine pass before they are allowed to enter the Centre. Besides, in accordance with the regulations implemented by the Government, persons entering the Centre are required to wear masks, comply with the epidemic prevention measures and maintain social distancing.

Final Connection of Cross Bay Link and Tseung Kwan O Marine Interchange was successfully completed on 30 December 2021 under the witness of Mr Frank Chan, Secretary for Transport and Housing, Ms Mabel Chan, Permanent Secretary for Transport and Housing (Transport), and Mr Albert Lee, Director of Civil Engineering and Development (CEDD).

The project participated in the RTHK Science in Public Service programme and introduced innovative technologies adopted in the construction of Cross Bay Link in the first episode.
